Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that offers a hand up to families in need of safe and affordable housing. As you may have heard via local media outlets, we have recently broken ground on the official Springhill Build located at 127 Main Street (corner of Princess St.) We, the Project Committe, have selected the Embrees (Harold, Carla, Dennis, Devin, and Anthony) as the very deserving local partner family who will be the future owners of the home when it is completed.

 

Fundraising is a key component of the project still underway, and the community is responsible to raise one-third of the overall costs of the build; this is estimated at approximately $35,000.

 

To this end we are holding this Online Auction. All funds raised will go directly to the Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia Springhill Project. At present there is no end date set for the Auction as we are still accepting donation of items for the Auction. If you would like to donate an item or items please see the Contact Us page.

 

At the close of the Auction the person with the winning bid will be contacted by email or phone and once contacted will have 48 hours to confirm bid and pay for the item or it will be offered to the next highest bidder. Thank you for visiting our page.
